Update on the Seeker the scow:
The planking was picked up at the kiln, but it didn’t make it far. The fellow who picked it up had no experience, and overloaded it over the rear axles. The first bump, which occurred as he left the yard, caused the rear end of the truck to raise, a loss of steering, and a unwelcome meting with a guard rail. The wood was unharmed as the incident occurred at twenty miles per hour, but the truck and the trailer were damaged. I feel bad for Jim, the driver. He’s a great guy, and had just invested a lot into the truck and trailer. On the bright side, he’ll be an expert in trailer loading in the future.
