Another good day at the Seeker.
Wayne returned, which is always good. This time he had a gift. A really beautiful donation box that he’d made. It’s made out of wood, and has a schooner shaped window cut into the front. When something is done right, it has it’s own ring.
We’re working on the stem extension, the beautiful curve in the bow that distinguishes many vintage boats. There’s some tricky joinery, and after seeing the first class workmanship in the donation box, I asked Wayne to do the joinery on the “Fashion Piece,” as the stem extension is called. Of course, it was soon done to perfection.
Later in the day, Jonah returned and we set about to continue the double planking on the port side aft.
The boats taking shape and we’re having fun doing it.
